Aluminum PEX Tubing - pex-al-pex pipe
Aluminum PEX Tubing used to Connect Boiler to Mixing Valve with Radiant Manifold Example
Here is a picture on how to use Aluminum PEX Tubing to connect a boiler to a mixing valve connected to a radiant heat pex manifold. Using Aluminum PEX Tubing can be easier because it holds it's shape better than tradional PEX. It won't sag as much either. Also, the Aluminum PEX Tubing will be held in place better and thus should be quieter.
Here is another picture on how to use PEX-AL-PEX Tubing to connect a boiler to a mixing valve connected to a radiant heat pex manifold.
Here is picture on how to use PEX-AL-PEX piping to connect a boiler to a distibution pex manifold. The first 4 ports are used for 2 radiant heating zones with a mixing valve (like the 2 pictures above) - the bottom 2 loops go straight out to another mixing valve with pex manifold - but needed more flexible PEX pipe to get to where it is located.
Here is picture of the PEX-AL-PEX pipe comming off the boiler and going to the distibution Manifold (see the image above).
